200 Hour Teacher Training

I have been practicing Yoga for 20 years, and last year I trained to become a 200-hour teacher. I felt that this course would bring a different level of education and give me calm confidence in the conduct of other yoga courses. My RTY is 200 and is taught regularly. This course will not teach me how to teach prenatal and postnatal Yoga but will accommodate students like me and my class who have physical limitations and need additional support.

During the internship of this course, I gained a deeper love for Yoga, supported posture variations in the prenatal area. I felt much better about my body than would be the case with regular yoga classes. As a yoga teacher and studio owner, the course gave me the confidence that not only am I welcome as a pregnant woman to these classes, but that there are safe modifications for prenatal-specific courses.
